VALENCIA RECEIVES DONATION OF THE HISTORIC “E. VEYRAT HERMANOS” ROSE FOR THE MONFORTE GARDEN.

As part of Valencia's designation as European Green Capital 2024, the city has received a donation of the “E. Veyrat Hermanos” rose, obtained in 1894 by the prestigious rose breeder Alexandre Bernaix of Lyon, for the Monforte Garden.

The Monforte Gardens are planting the “E. Veyrat Hermanos” rose as part of Valencia's European Green Capital 2024 programme. The donation was made by the Veyrat brothers and represents a milestone in the preservation of plant species with historical significance.
